Good Common Sense! That's what me likes!

Love in the Time of Cholera
Wednesday night, Orange movie at Movieplex. Taty suggested to see Love in the Time of Cholera. I looked at the trailer and we decided to go for the 22:15 show. I think that the movie deserves more thant the rank on IMDB. I laught and feel good watching it, even I didn’t like the plot too much. I’ve seen a Javier Bardem (Florentino) much more different than the one from No country for old men and I could say it’s is an interesting actor, with substance. Giovanna Mezzogiorno (Fermina) was very pretty and had an aristocratic air, which I liked.
I would like to say more about the novel. I think Florentino is a little bit insane. His life stopped at some point and didn’t changed despite the time. His stubbornness amazed me and also his patience and calm. I can’t say this is a real story… in real life, people go crazy easier and things go bad more often. But we don’t go to movies to see real life, may be we need from time to time, things to work the other way just to see it is possible. The movie presents only Florentino’s thoughts as they were, naked(through monologue), while Fermina’s thoughts are presented in dialog, from outside.
I tried to imagine the same story with common people, with common resources, but probably it is not worth it…common people don’t live such lifes
